Types of Data Processed

The data processed are the personal data of the data subject.

Mandatory Nature of Providing Data

Providing the personal data referred to above is mandatory when the customer voluntarily decides to enter into a service contract with E‑dway s.r.l.

Refusal to provide such personal data makes it impossible to use the services offered by the Data Controller.

Data Retention Period

• Legal obligations: 10 years after the end of the contractual relationship, within the terms and limits established by applicable administrative, civil and tax regulations. • Legitimate interest of the Data Controller: in the event of legal disputes, for the entire duration of the proceedings and until all appeal deadlines have expired. • Marketing purposes: 2 years after the end of the contractual relationship. • Documentation (identity card, driving licence, credit card): 180 days after the end of the rental period (E‑dway is required to retain such data for 180 days due to possible requests from external Authorities and/or Public Administrations).

Once the above retention periods have expired, your personal data will be destroyed, deleted or anonymised, in accordance with technical procedures for deletion and backup.

Data Recipients

• Your data will be accessible, for the purposes described in this notice, only to individuals expressly authorised by the Data Controller and belonging to the following categories:

• all parties who are granted access to such data by virtue of regulatory provisions;

• employees and collaborators of the Data Controller, in their capacity as authorised processors;

• all natural and/or legal persons, public and/or private, when communication is necessary or functional to the activities of the Data Controller and for the purposes described above.

Without the need for express consent (pursuant to Article 24(a), (b), (d) of the Italian Privacy Code and Article 6(b) and (c) GDPR), the Data Controller may communicate your data for the purposes described in this notice to supervisory bodies, judicial authorities, insurance companies for the provision of insurance services, and to those parties to whom communication is mandatory by law for the fulfilment of the stated purposes. These parties will process the data as independent data controllers. Your data will not be disseminated.

To achieve the purposes described above, the Data Controller may use providers of software solutions, web applications and storage services, including cloud‑based systems hosted on servers located within EU countries.
